Jojoba Desert, the leading global producer of jojoba oil, hosted a seminar in China on Thursday, August 31, at the Marriott Hotel’s Courtyard Shanghai. The event was held in cooperation with our partner, the Elgin Corporation.

Highlighting the seminar was a presentation by keynote speaker Lily Peng, Elgin’s TS & D manager, who reviewed recent research demonstrating jojoba oil’s effectiveness in numerous cosmetics applications. Some 40 representatives from top regional cosmetic brands and manufacturers attended the event, as we further strengthened our leadership position in the Chinese market.
Coming two weeks after our first-ever Chinese seminar in Guangzhou, the Shanghai event – which generated great interest in jojoba oil among attendees – underscores Jojoba Desert’s commitment to the overall Chinese market.
